Democrat party tries to re-instate God and Jerusalem in platform, deems it passed amid boos

In the 2008 Democratic party platform, there was this language on Jerusalem, Israel:

Jerusalem is and will remain the capital of Israel. The parties have agreed that Jerusalem is a matter for final status negotiations. It should remain an undivided city accessible to people of all faiths.

This year, however, that language has been removed. Indeed, there is no mention of Jerusalem in the 2012 party platform adopted by Democrats.

“We need a government that stands up for the hopes, values, and interests of working people, and gives everyone willing to work hard the chance to make the most of their God-given potential.”

Wording referencing God was removed.

While at first they may have been able to claim a clerical error or an inadvertent act of one or two people, they lost that possibility and removed all doubt that at least half the delegates opposed placing this wording back in the democrat platform.  In fact, I think the No’s won, but they declared or deemed it passed as being 2/3 yes votes.

Does anybody wonder now that what is left of the democrat party is anti-God, and very wish-washy on Jerusalem as the capitol of Israel?  They voted not once, not twice, but three times to remove any doubt.  This should be enough to send any thinking democrat running from this party.  It’s over the edge.
