From under a bridge somewhere near Cincinnati: “I, I, I, I’m a warrior for the middle class”

Is he on something…..

…..or is his speech-writer trying to make him look like a fool?

Transcript of the speech:  http://fatlip.leoweekly.com/2011/09/22/full-text-of-obamas-speech-in-nkycincinnati/

There is one thing I am really glad about and that is he has”put politics aside”, as he requested in the speech before the joint session of congress.

It’s always all about the children, yes, all about the children and the middle class.  He sounds a whole lot like what he promised to do when pushing the 2009 stiumlus bill.  He was going to repair roads and bridges, repair schools, and provide all those shovel ready jobs.  (tee hee funny funny not quite as shovel ready as he thought.)

And there’s still 35,000, that’s 35,000 schools that need repair?  Here he is in 2009:

” To give our children the chance to live out their dreams in a world that’s never been more competitive, we will equip tens of thousands of schools, community colleges, and public universities with 21st century classrooms, labs, and libraries. We’ll provide new computers, new technology, and new training for teachers so that students in Chicago and Boston can compete with kids in Beijing for the high-tech, high-wage jobs of the future.”

I thought local property and other taxes paid for the schools anyway.  What happened to all that tax money collected on gasoline sales that was to pay for roads and bridges?  But if you could fake manufacturing a few solar panels that nobody wanted, one might could have gotten, no not might could have but did get, a few hundred million dollars of stimulus money.

Here he is.  The smartest man in the world.  But it has been alleged that he made C’s and D’s in college and he has produced no evidence to the contrary.  But still so intelligent and so articulate.

Reblogged this on can i just finish my waffle? and commented:

I saw where obama was at yet another bridge, somewhere in New York, recycling the same ole speech he gave I think at least twice in Cincinnati. How many bridges has he been under since 2009 and better yet, how many major federal projects have you seen since the first stimulus which was supposed to do all that.
