Sheriff Dupnik back in the news: Tucson SWAT Team Shot Iraq War Vet 60 Times in his Own Home

Remember Sheriff Dupnik from the Gabrielle Giffords shooting?  I guess this is the new tone and civil conversation Dupnik was talking about.   Now Mr. Media Hog is reprimanding the media for questioning him.  I wonder if President Obama will hold a memorial/pep rally in the slain vet’s honor?  This happened on May 5th and it is just now surfacing.

A Tucson, Ariz., SWAT team defends shooting an Iraq War veteran 60 times during a drug raid, although it declines to say whether it found any drugs in the house and has had to retract its claim that the veteran shot first.

Jose Guerena, 26

And the Pima County sheriff [AKA Sheriff Clarence Dupnik] scolded the media for “questioning the legality” of the shooting.

At first the Pima County Sheriff’s Office said that Guerena fired first, but on Wednesday officials backtracked and said he had not. “The safety was on and he could not fire,” according to the sheriff’s statement.

Flashback – Democrat Sheriff Dupnik, the left wing’s lover,  who irresponsibly and wrongly blamed so-called vitriolic rhetoric of talk radio and the tea party for the Tuscon massacre. Will he make the rounds on the liberal media circuit for being in command of a swat team that shot and killed a man in his own home in front of his wife and children?  That’s very vitriolic in my book.
