Saul Alinsky: Lucifer Was the First Community Organizer

Somebody came up with the clever new saying, “Jesus was a community organizer, Pontius Pilate was a governor.”  It is meant to imply, of course, that Senator Obama then would be the one to be compared to Jesus and Governor Palin would be compared to Pilate.  Obama, good.  Palin, bad.  Wrong.  Bad wrong.

Instead of  “Jesus was a community organizer,”  it should read  “Satan was a community organizer.”  You know – that Satan – the “father of all lies.”

Because according to Saul Alinsky, the father of community organizing, it was the Devil himself who was the first community organizer.

Rules for Radicals opens with a quote about Lucifer, written by Saul Alinsky: “Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins — or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer.”

Rule #5 – Ridicule.

And judging from the activities of ACORN, they are living up to their model and mentor.  It should give anyone pause to hear Mr. Obama promise them that he will call them all in so they can help him shape the agenda for his administration.
