The Breakdown of The Beast – Walking to Jerusalem

Quick: Just a few hours later, President Obama got into the back up vehicle that they brought from D.C.

The downed ‘Beast': President Obama’s armored limo broke down  this morning (o3.20.13).

Jerusalem (CNN) — The official limousine awaiting President Barack Obama’s arrival in Israel malfunctioned after its driver refueled it using gasoline rather than diesel fuel, an official said Wednesday.

The limo failed to start, and required towing in Jerusalem at 10 a.m. local time. Obama, who landed in Tel Aviv around noon, was not in the country at the time the limo was towed. A second presidential limo was brought to transport Obama.

The President’s comfortable travel is not limited to the air, as he always has his custom limo shipped overseas when he goes abroad.

The 18-foot Cadillac limo is made with military-grade armor that is at least five-inches thick and developed out of a combination of steel, aluminum, titanium and ceramic.
It comes equipped to take on almost anything, as it is armed with its own tear gas cannons, pump-action shotguns.

The most unusual accessory in this seven-person vehicle is the on board bottles of the President’s blood in case he needs a transfusion on the road.

Ignoring all of the bells and whistles, the one truly important fact that was overlooked by the driver this morning is that the engine runs on diesel and holds 6.5 liters.

All told, the car is said to cost more than $1.5million.

…..

Well…..

There were at least two of these beasts taken over there, along with an entourage of over 600 people.  And they couldn’t even get the thing gassed up correctly.

One of the most bizarre things is there are containers of blood that goes along with him in the event he needs a transfusion while traveling.  Never heard that one before.

Who would ever have thought that in 2013, The Beast would be towed to Jerusalem just before Palm Sunday and Easter.  Is there some strange symbolism here?

Perhaps there will be a whole newtestament written to explain it.

What will it be called?  The New Jerusalem?

“”And, behold,  I saw the holy city–the new Jerusalem–descending out of heaven from God, made ready like a bride adorned for her husband.””

Walk In Jerusalem by Mahalia Jackson
Way up, way up
Way up, way up
High up in Jerusalem
When I die
(rpt again)

Oh, be in Jerusalem
Sing in Jerusalem
Shout in Jerusalem
Pray in Jerusalem
High up in Jerusalem when I die.

Hmm, when I get down to the river
I’m gonna stick my sword in the sand
For I spy the ol’ ship of Zion
She took a-many to the Promised Land
Way over in Buelah
Where there ain’t no dying there
Where the saints shoutin’ victory
Oh, they singin’, Lord, everywhere
Way over in Buelah
I hear the voice of friends I’ve known
They been gone on, gone on to Glory
Well, well a long time ago
They been waitin’
They been watchin’
They been waitin’ at the beautiful gates
And one day I’m gonna meet them
Oh, I’m gonna sing forever more
Way over in Buelah
I see the Captain beckoned to me
Well, he’s callin’ all God’s chirrun’
Oh, to meet him on the Promised Land.

God knows I’m gonna
Walk in Jerusalem
Talk in Jerusalem
Sing in Jerusalem
Be in Jerusalem
High up, oh, in Jerusalem
When I die, Oh yeah

Well, be in Jerusalem
Sing in Jerusalem
Shout in Jerusalem
Sing in Jerusalem
High up, oh, in Jerusalem
When I die.

  1. That seems like a dumb mistake how many times has the driver filled up the beast? It seems like he would know it took diesel if he fuels it up all the time.
