Obama bows to Emperor of Japan
What an embarassment
Since we know Barack Hussein Obama is the most intelligent person living or dead, this cannot be excused as a blunder, or an innocent mistake, or lack of experience, or ignorance of proper protocol. He is intentionally elevating kings and emperors above the President of the United States.
NYT’s reaction to Clinton inclining his head to the Emperor in 1994:
“It wasn’t a bow, exactly. But Mr. Clinton came close. He inclined his head and shoulders forward, he pressed his hands together. It lasted no longer than a snapshot, but the image on the South Lawn was indelible: an obsequent President, and the Emperor of Japan.”
“Administration officials scurried to insist that the eager-to-please President had not really done the unthinkable.”
Well, so much for the unthinkable.

This reminds me of the sermon of Jeremiah Wright right after 9/11 where he referred to what he called acts of terrorism of the USA, specifically referring to the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Now twice at a press conference Barack Hussein Obama refused to say we did the right thing, and now he bows to the son of the emperor who ordered the attack on Pearl Harbor.
If you listen to the words of Jeremiah Wright, they will tell you what this man believes and where he stands. And he is verifying it almost daily with his reaction to Hasan, his insistance on bringing the worst of the worst to NYC to give them the same consitutional rights as USA citizens. Most of the time he finds this gaping flaw in the constitution unless he wants to use it for his own purposes.

Having been in the Marines and stationed on Okinawa for three years, and traveling throughout Asia, I don’t see a problem with this at all.
Most Americans don’t understand or respect other cultures, and have a tendency to think we are always better than or above others. Bowing is a sign of respect in Japan, not so much a sign of “submission” as some of you extremists seem to think. Usually “gaijin” don’t bow properly, so they usually avoid trying. It is also considered polite to apologize profusely even if you are not directly at fault for something, as a sign of respect, not fault or submission.
Too bad more Americans don’t expand their horizons and actually learn about or interact with people of other cultures. If they did a story like this wouldn’t cause so much controversy

Interesting how someone lecturing on respect for others has no problem referring to others as “you extremists” and closing your remarks with such a statement as “is stupidity a norm on this site.”
