I thought it was a little crass for Nancy Pelosi to comes out no less than one hour after Ted Kennedy’s death seeking to use his death to catapult national health care to passage, but this is almost unbelievable here.
I now know for certain that “separation of church and state” only applies to conservatives. And it’s okay to use a funeral with little children to push a political agenda? I think not.

I wonder if the grandchildren were ever told of their great uncle, Pres John F Kennedy’s quote “Ask not what your country can do for you, but rather, what you can do for your country”? The intercession is part of the Catholic Mass post Vatican II, making the congregation more a part of the Mass….personally I find it a tad unnerving & frankly a little distasteful & I am of the opinion this ploy will backfire…..as well it seems a bit desperate to try to pass something so massive in memory of ONE MAN……what burns me the most about Nat’l Heathcare is we already have it….nobody gets turned away from emergency care, Dr’s are leaving private practice due to Medicaid re-inbursement….FIX what is broken with the SYSTEM! Why do prescriptions cost so much? Why don’t ins carriers question unnecessary tests? Christ on a cross, I maintain the only way to stay healthy is to stay OUT of a Dr’s ofc……they’ll kill you with worry, & still won’t give you anything conclusive after all the tests…..why are hospitalization stays so Godly expensive? Why does equipment cost so much? Why not have a panel investigate & answer some of these questions before NATIONALIZING healthcare! Just because they nationalize it, WHY would costs go down? MAKES NO SENSE…..
As I recall Teddy Kennedy had great health care, he didn’t go to Cuba to be treated LOL!
This is as dumb as it gets but you know this funeral was one big liberal echo chamber. If they used the kid they thought he wouldn’t be attacked because he was Ted’s grandson…huh kids are off limits from the press like Sarah Palin’s children? I don’t think so….
